Copper alloy sestertius of Julia Mamaea, dating to AD 222-35 (Reece Period 11) with obverse IVLIA MAMAEA (AVGVSTA), diademed and draped bust right. Mint of Rome. It is 26mm in diameter and 2.5mm thick. Set into a rectangular lead piece with dimensions 55mm by 45mm with a thickness of 5 to 9mm.  The total weight is 207g. There is possibly another bent disc on the top edge, to the left-hand side. The function of the piece remains a mystery.
