A Roman copper-alloy coin, probably a cast copy ( Limesfalsum ) of an as of Julia Mamaea (AD 222-35), possible prototype dating to AD 227 (Reece Period 11), possibly [VESTA, S C], Vesta standing facing, head left, holding patera and transverse sceptre. Prototype, Mint of Rome. BMC VI, p. 156 and pl. 15, cf. no. 448. These limesfalsa were produced up until the late 240s.
