A silver contemporary copy of a Roman denarius of Julia Paula dating to AD 218-222 (Reece period 10), VIRTVS AVG reverse type Virtus standing right holding vertical spear and shield. Uncertain mint. The reverse appears to be a reverse of Severus Alexander cf. RIC no. 182. The reverse is not consistent with reverse types for Julia Paula. Therefore it is suggested that this is a contemporary copy.
