A contemporary cast copy (limesfalsum) of a copper alloy dupondius of Julia Maesa dating to the period AD 218-222 (Reece period 10). The obverse depicts a draped bust facing right and is inscribed (IVLIA MAESA AVG). The reverse depicts Felicitas standing left at an altar holding a caduceus and is inscribed S[AECVLI FELICITA]S. RIC vol IV pt 2 p 61 cf no 424. Find of Note.
