TR POT [VIII/VIIII COS II] S C, Reverse type depicting Minerva standing left holding owl and vertical spear, shield on ground to right. Mint of Rome. As BMC nos. 1960, 1985; RIC III p. 184, no. 1317. This is a 'Coin of British Association' struck in Rome, but only apparently issued to Britain. 11 specimens were found in the Sacred Spring at Bath (Walker Roman Coins from the Sacred Spring at Bath p. 298 nos. 363-73).
21mm diameter, 3.5mm thick. Weighs 7.28g
