An incomplete copper-alloy Roman as of Marcus Aurelius (AD 139-180) as Casear, dating to AD 153-154 (Reece Period 7). TR POT VIII COS II reverse type depicting Minerva standing left, holding owl and spear; shield at left side, S C in the field. Mint of Rome. As RIC III, p. 184, no. 1317. This is a Coin of British Association as noted by D. Walker at the Sacred Spring in Bath, Walker, 1988: pp. 295, 298, nos. 363-374.

RIC III, p. 179, no. 1286 passim for the Clementia reverse type, although cf. also p. 184, no. 1324 passim for similar reverse types depicting Salus.
