A Post Medieval Danish coin, a silver two skilling coin, of Christian VII (AD 1749 - 1808) dated 1781. Mint of Altona. The coin is slightly bent and has copper alloy corrosion on the reverse. It is 17.26mm diameter, 0.6mm thick and 0.9g. Krause, Standard Catalogue of World Coins 1701 - 1800, page 165, KM# 631.2.

A silver post medieval quartered coin of uncertain attribution. The pattern of crowns on one side, probably the reverse, most closely resembles those on the arms of Sweden, although it is difficult to make out what the design above represents and whether or not this fits the arms. The other side of the coin is too worn to make an interpretation of the design. It may form part of a bust design although this is uncertain. The most likely attribution for the coin are the 16-17th century coinages of Sweden although this remains uncertain. 13mm x 10mm weight:0.57g
