A silver post medieval quartered coin of uncertain attribution. The pattern of crowns on one side, probably the reverse, most closely resembles those on the arms of Sweden, although it is difficult to make out what the design above represents and whether or not this fits the arms. The other side of the coin is too worn to make an interpretation of the design. It may form part of a bust design although this is uncertain. The most likely attribution for the coin are the 16-17th century coinages of Sweden although this remains uncertain. 13mm x 10mm weight:0.57g

A worn post-medieval silver Danish two skilling coin of Christian VII (1749 - 1808) dated on the coin but unread. Mint uncertain, Copenhagen or Altona. The coin dates to 1776-85. The edge of the coin is ragged in places and it has a corroded iron rivet piercing the surface at 9 o'clock on the obverse/ 3 o'clock on the reverse. The rivet measures 3.5mm in diameter and 3.3mm in length. It obscures the second part of the date to the reverse (the first half of the date unread due to wear).
