A complete Post-Medieval silver Norwegian two Skilling Danske of Charles V of Denmark and Norway (AD 1646-1699), issued in 1685. Mintmaster Peter Gruner.

The coin has an irregular piercing through the centre of the crowned C5 on the obverse and the lion on the reverse.

Obverse description: Crowned Vasa shield, date above. Shield divides denomination, 1/4 OR, ball under 1/4 and OR.
Reverse description: Three crowns of Sweden,C R S, (Christiana Regina Sve); three rosettes below.
The coin is in a fair condition with some corrosion.It has been struck slightly off-centre on the obverse, leaving a little extra metal on the left side.

Cf. Krause and Mishler, Standard Catalogue of World Coins 1701 - 1800, page 134, KM# 616.1 (third edition). This publication states that this type was struck between 1771-1785, but with a frozen date of 1771.

A worn post-medieval silver Danish two skilling coin of Christian VII (1749 - 1808) dated on the coin but unread. Mint uncertain, Copenhagen or Altona. The coin dates to 1776-85. The edge of the coin is ragged in places and it has a corroded iron rivet piercing the surface at 9 o'clock on the obverse/ 3 o'clock on the reverse. The rivet measures 3.5mm in diameter and 3.3mm in length. It obscures the second part of the date to the reverse (the first half of the date unread due to wear).

The fragment measures 18.7mm long, 12.5mm wide, 0.9mm thick and weighs 0.53 grams.

A Post Medieval copper alloy Swedish coin, 1 Öre of Fredrick I Sweden, dated AD.1723 modified to be used as a button. The obverse contains the initials F.R.S. of the ruler above three crowns. The reverse shows a squared shield with crossed arrows and crown above, to the left of the field is the value of the coin (1 ) to the right the denomination (OR) with K/M below denoting the Stockholm mint. The coin has a milled edge typically used on the 1 Öre K.M. coins. The coin has had four holes pierced through it, to turn it into a button.
