The coin is extremely worn and has been deliberately bent into a S-shape Diameter: 18.55 Weight: 2.53g Probably re-used as a token or charm by being deliberately worn and bent into an S-shape. Coins with a double bend are sometimes referred to as 'love tokens' but are more correctly regarded as charms or pledges. They are not uncommon finds but their significance is not understood.

A Post Medieval copper alloy pattern half penny of Queen Anne (AD 1702-1714) dating from AD 1705 onwards. The obverse depicts a large bust of Anne facing left. The reverse is a possible depiction of Anne seated with a shield. The legend is not legible and the reverse is too worn to further identify.
