1696-1701. Silver alloy, milled sixpence of William III. Length 20.7mm, Width 20.4mm, Thickness 0.9mm, Diameter 20.7mm, Weight 2.3g. Obverse: possibly Fourth (flaming) bust right, very worn legend 'LMVS'. Reverse: Crowned cruciform shields with extremely worn legend 'MAG...ET'. No mint mark. The coin is in very worn condition but also bent deliberately to form a love 'crooked' token. Mint Mark probably London. Ref: Coins of England and the UK, Spink 2003, 38th Edition, page 340-342.
