CONSECRATIO, Eagle standing left on ground, head turned to the right, wings spread but close to body, . There is possibly an officina letter in the exergue. Probably Mint of Rome. RIC V (I), p. 23, cf. no. 266, Cunetio p.141, cf. no. 2314, Normanby cf. no.1115. Note that the obverse has a draped bust which is very rare for the type and both the Cunetio and Normanby references are to pieces with just a head.
