A broken Post Medieval base silver halfgroat of Edward VI (1547-1553) in the name of Henry VIII dating to AD 1547-1551. No initial mark, probably minted at Bristol. North (1991,119) no. 1880. The coin has a large chip on its edge on the left when looking at the bust and a small section has broken off opposite this, along a probable crack as the break is patinated.

A worn and slightly corroded silver penny of early post-medieval date. This coin, which was minted at Bristol, is probably a posthoumous coin of Edward VI in the name of his father, Henry VIII. It was struck between AD 1547 and 1551 and is probably North no. 1886. It measures 16.3mm in diameter, 0.3mm thick and weighs 0.51g.
