Type VII 2 (with a D and a quatrefoil by the neck), minted at Durham under Bishop Lawrence Booth, 1466-1467 (North 1991: 89, ref: 1604). The coin is 16.2mm in diameter, 0.6mm thick and weighs 0.77g. There is interesting punctuation in the reverse legend, which appears to end with a colon where each dot is a trefoil.

Ref: Spink 2003: 133-35; cf. Mac Conamhna 2017: 114, fig 5. The diameter is 13mm, and the weight 0.5g. Obverse inscription is illegible but would have read [EDWARD DI GR DNS hYBE] Reverse inscription [CIVI/TAS/D]UB/LIN The coin is heavily clipped.
