There are segments that have been clipped around the edge, including from 12 o'clock to 1 o'clock and from 2 o'clock to 4 o'clock. Obverse description: Crowned bust facing forwards. Though stars are noted on obverse and reverse, the crown seems to vary from that trifoliate version to be expected of the star-marked coinage of Edward III (1327-1377).
