A medieval silver penny of Henry V (1413- 1422), Class G, Mint of York. North 1404. Obverse depicts forward facing bust with mullet to the left of crown and trefoil to right. Hollow neck and armpits. Long cross reverse with quatrefoil in centre, dividing CIVITAS EBORACI inscription. Two opposite quadrants contain three pellets, the other two contain 5. Two arms of the cross have been displaced by the extra pellets, making one three pellet quadrant much smaller than the others. The coin measures 17.8mm in diameter, is 0.5mm thick and weighs 0.76g.
