A gold Henry V class G quarter noble, with a mullet after HENRIC and annulet stops after DEI, lis above shield and in centre of rev. Mint is London, initial mark is a pieced cross, date is 1413-22. North number 1384. The coin has been cut from the edge inwards and bent slightly. This damage is likely to have occurred in recent times due to the plough.

The circumference of this coin is slightly clipped and very worn, with a larger break corresponding to 11-12 o'clock on the obverse of the coin.

A silver Medieval coin; a penny of Henry V (1413 - 1422), Stewartby Class 3(F) issued at the York episcopal mint and with the features of London class 3(G) as is usual at York. There is also an annulet in the reverse legend after CIVITAS which does not seem to be mentioned in Stewartby but which is also seen on SUR-04AFB4. See North number 1407 on page 71. The coin is 17.5mm diameter, 0.5mm thick, and 0.82g.
