An incomplete, worn, late Medieval silver penny, potentially from the reign of Edward III (AD 1327-1377) due to the remnants of the first letter of the obverse inscription appearing to form an "E" and the final letters being "FR", something found on pennies struck in London during his reign. The coin seems to have been struck off-centre on both faces, and part of the edge has seemingly been clipped from around 9 o'clock to 12 o'clock. Obverse description: Crowned bust facing forward.
