A silver Medieval coin; a round halfpenny of Edward III (AD 1327 - 1377), Florin coinage (AD 1344 - 1351), London mint. It is Withers type 13g with saltires above the crown (on page 34 of Halfpennies and Farthings, Edward III and Richard II) but with a different reverse which has a quatrefoil or cross under the T of TAS, as recorded for type 13eiii. The obverse of the coin is worn. It is 14.8mm diameter, 0.4mm thick and 0.53g. See North (1991) Volume II, number 1132 on page 48.
