Edward III silver Half-Groat. The Mint is london although the precise Series is uncertain as the bust is obscured through corrosion and there are elements of the legends missing where the coin has broken. It is part of Edward's Fourth coinage (1351-61) on the grounds of its regal title. Broken around the edge.

An incomplete medieval silver halfgroat of Edward III (1327-1377). Fourth coinage, pre-Treaty period, Series C (North 1148) dating to 1351-1352. Mint of London. North (1975, 38).
The coin has received two major removals, wedge shaped in opposing quarters. One surviving quarter has had the outer circle clipped down. Perhaps half of the flan survives overall. What remains measures 20 mm in diameter.
