Silver coin. Possibly Halfpenny of Edward III (1327-1377), possibly third (florin) coinage, issue of 1344-1351, possibly North no. 1131
Obverse description: Facing bust with tall crown, possibly bifoliate, fleur appears double struck; five diamonds along band of crown. Drapery probably of angled wedges. Legend clipped, so readings offered below and conclusions drawn are tentative.
Obverse inscription: EDWARD[-?-]Sxx[---], double saltire punctuation, one over the other.
Reverse description: Long cross with three pellets in each angle, central ?cinquefoil around pellet.

Silver coin. Fragment of a torn long cross penny, of Edward III (1327-1377), fourth coinage of 1351-1377, possibly issued by Lincoln mint.
Obverse description: Bare shouldered bust
Obverse inscription: (--)RDVS.REX, the S is egg-waisted and X is prominently seriffed.
Reverse description: Long cross, only two pellets are visible in each angle, though this may arise from heavy wear.
Reverse inscription: (--)?REX?/?LINC?(--), the former possibly indicating a mis-strike; N is Lombardic.
Diameter: 18.0mm, Weight: 0.65gms.
