Silver long cross penny Edwardian Type (1279 - 1377). Bustwith shoulders facing, area above crown missing, with crown badly worn and a marking, possible fleur de lys,in center of chest. The coin was either misstruck or clipped. Reverse long cross pattee with 3 pellets in each quarter and center of cross slightly enlarged but with any quatrefoil worn away. Diameter 18.48mm and weight 1g. Mint York.

A long-cross, silver penny of Edward III (1327-1377). Third (Florin) coinage (1344 -1351), type 2. See North 1991, p. 47, no. 1114. London mint. Annulet stops and Lombardic N. The coin is slightly damaged and chipped. A piece of the flan has been torn and folded towards the reverse by the inner beaded circle, from 12 to 1 o'clock on the obverse. Possibly plough damage.

A worn and clipped long-cross silver penny, possibly Edward III (1327-1377). Possibly Fourth coinage, pre-treaty period (1351-1361), Series Ga (1356-1361). Mint uncertain, could be Durham. The edges have been clipped. In consequence the initial mark and the king's name is missing on the obverse. The penny has Roman N reversely barred, wedge-tailed R and annulet stops on the obverse and annulet on breast. Similar to North 1991, p. 50, no.1150.
