A clipped silver penny of Edward III (AD 1327-1377) of the London mint. Cross pattee initial mark. Reverse has annulets in the centre of each group of three pellets. The coin may have been double struck and also hammered post-striking as the surface of the coin is covered in pitting. This is a Series C penny, standard type G annulet issue, AD 1351-1352. North 1149.
