A plated forgery of a Roman coin. The size, thickness and remaining reverse image suggest that this is a 4th century plated siliqua with Victory on the reverse.
The coin is incomplete and heavily corroded, with much of the original silver surface remaining. It measures 14mm in diameter, 1.2mm thick and weighs 0.62g.
