A Roman contemporary copy of a siliqua of Honorius (AD 395-423). Reece period 21. VIRTVS ROMANORVM reverse, depicting Roma seated left holding victory on a globe and a sceptre. Minted in Mediolanum. RIC X 1228. The coin is silver plated with the base metal being copper alloy. Traces of the silver plate remain. the coin has also been bent in half, making it difficult to discern the features on the reverse. Dimensions: diameter: 16.51 mm; weight: 1.09g.
