Gold coin. Solidus of Valentinian I (364-375), mint of Arles, issue of 364-367, Reece period 19, RIC volume 9 no. 1(b). This coin is in excellent condition, the only flaw being where the edge has been tweaked at 7 O'clock (obverse), probably to assay the material in antiquity. Obverse description: Bust rosette diademed draped and cuirassed right.
