A copper-alloy barbarous radiate probably copying an obverse of Aurelian and a reverse of one of the Gallic emperors, dating to c. AD 275-285. Reverse; copying SPES AVG/PVBLICA, Spes walking left holding flower and raising skirt. Barbarous copies of Aurelian are very rare, but this coin does appear to have an obverse legend for Aurelian, rather than a blundered one for Tetricus I. Because very few coins of Aurelian actually arrived in the province, there were very few to copy.
