Roman coin: copper alloy radiate of an unknown Emperor (Reece period unknown), dating to 260 to 275. Reece Period 13 probably. The coin has a crescent shaped cut or break at the edge of the coin in front of the bust. It seems to be purposeful rather than an accidental break. On probabilities the coin is likely to be a radiate coin of the late 3rd century, but there is the possibility that it is the core of a plated denarius, looking at the style of the bust, perhaps from the Antonine period.
