A copper alloy Roman coin: a nummus of Fausta (wife of Constantine I) dating from AD 324 - 326 (Reece period 16), SALVS REIPVBLICAE reverse, depicting Salus holding two children in her arms. Trier mint. See LRBC number 37 on page 4, and Sear, volume 4, page 509, number 16545.
The coin is damaged, with a large edge chip between 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock on the obverse. It is 17.7mm in diameter and 1.5mm thick. It weighs 1.8gm.
