A Roman nummus of Fausta or Helena as Nobilissime Feminae, dating to AD 318-9 (Reece Period 16), Eight-pointed star in laurel-wreath. Mint of Thessalonica. Reference: RIC volume VII, p.505, cf. nos.50-51. This unusual coin was only struck at Thessalonica. Note: There are two issues of this type, one with mintmark - // ● TS ● A ● (RIC nos. 48-9) and the other with no mintmark. This appears to have no mintmark.
