A silver Roman Republican denarius, probably of Vibius Pansa Caetronianus, (c.48BC).

Obverse description: very worn, Mask of bearded Pan right, below, inscription (illegible). Border of dots.
Reverse description: Jupiter seated left, laureate, holding patera in right hand and sceptre in left hand. Border of dots.The inscription is illegible.
The coin is in a very poor condition with a great deal of wear on both faces; it is concave on the obverse.
