A complete but worn copper alloy Roman nummus (AE3), possibly from the House of Valentinian II and dating to the period AD 364-378. Reece Period 19. The obverse is in very poor condition with the Emperor cuirassed bust right being just discernible. The reverse has the Emperor standing right, holding labarum with one foot on captive. The reverse legend is possibly VIRTVS E-XERCITI.
The coin is in very poor/worn condition with a dark green mottled brown patina.
