Obv.: Bearded laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Leg.: '[MAXIMIAN]VS NOB CAES'. Rev.:Genius standing left by altar, modius on head, naked but for chlamys over left shoulder, holding patera and cornucopiae. Leg.: '[GENIO POPV]/LI RO[MANI]'. In exergue 'LP' if Lyon. The coin is highly abraded around the circumference, particularly the bottom of the obverse. Measurements: 24.16mm in diameter, 2.5mm thick and 4g in weight.

The obverse of the coin is preserved in extremely good condition, whereas the reverse is extremely corroded with little of the original surface remaining.
