Robertson 2000, 69 no. 329: "At Slay Hills Saltings, on Upchurch Marsh: "In the summer of 1952 a hoard of thirty-seven sestertii was found in a small urn. The urn was of rough, poor workmanship, and of a dirty brown clay. Its external surface showed the remnants of a black coating, parts of which had been oxidized, suggesting that it had been subjected to intense heat after firing. The coins ranged from Domitian to Commodus. The majority were very worn and generally in a poor condition.
