A clipped and worn silver siliqua of Eugenius AD 392-394, Reece period 21.
The obverse shows a diademed and draped bust of Eugenius facing right. There is no inscription. The reverse shows Roma seated on a cuirass, facing left, holding Victory on a globe and a reversed spear. There is a partial incription to the left of the spear, possibly part of [VIRTVS ROM]ANO [RVM]. This would suggest the coin is of a type RIC IX, 106d: RSC 14b possibly from the Trier mint, although it could also be from Milan.
