What is mentioned in Garrett & Harris 1938 and shown on a plan (p. 97, fig. 1) is a small group of coins associated with a 'hole in upper flagged floor' in Room I. This hole was 'filled with various debris, amongst which coarse pottery, pseudo-samian ware, late coins (Decentius, Constantius II, barbarous, & minimi), twisted copper bracelet wire etc'. Also two glass beads.
