A nummus issued AD 321-322 in London under the authority of Constantine II as Caesar (RIC VII, 112, 236 var). Flavius Claudius Constantinus Augustus was the oldest of Constantine's surviving sons but was killed outside Aquilea during the Constantinian family's civil war. The coin is very dark and suffers from wear to the reverse, though the type is still clearly identifiable. Obverse:- Radiate crowned and cuirassed bust of Constantine II facing left.
