Possibly [P M TR P / TRP IIII COS III P P, S C] reverse type depicting Mars walking right holding spear and trophy. Principal Mint, Gaul. A very worn and corroded 3rd-century copper-alloy Roman coin: probably a dupondius of Postumus, uncertain mint (c. 260 - c. 269 AD; Reece issue period 13). This heavily corroded coin may possibly be a Limesfalsum copy of an official coin. Possibly part of a radiate hoard discovered in 1869 consisting of coins from Gallienus to Allectus (see inventory p. 231; ref. 938).
