Reverse: Sol walking left with his right arm raised and holding a whip with his left, inscription: ORIEN[S] AVGG. Probably minted in Rome. The coin is clipped between 4 o'clock and 7 o'clock and with a significant piercing punched through Valerian's neck, obscuring much of the detail on the left of the portrait.
