A fragment of Middle Bronze Age rapier dating to c. 1550-1150 cal BC. This slender fragment appears to be from the tip of a rapier. The opposite end is broken, but this is not due to recent damage. The find has a sub-rectangular cross section. It has flat surfaces, which do not appear to have been deliberately bent prior to deposition. The edges of the blade are bevelled although these are now abraded and chipped. The surfaces of the blade are pitted and worn. An incomplete Roman copper alloy British plate brooch dating to c. AD 100-200. Mackreth (2011) type 3.a4. The main body of the brooch was originally circular in plan, but it has lost a portion due to an old break between 5 and 7 o'clock. The surviving portion of the brooch has five rounded, projecting lugs placed evenly around the its circumference, although the sixth is now missing due to damage. A complete Medieval silver soldino or 'Galley halfpenny' possibly dating to c.  AD 1501-1525. The obverse shows the Doge, as standard bearer of Venice, kneeling left, receiving the banner of St. Mark from the patron-saint standing right. The reverse may show Christ standing holding a cross, but it is very worn. No legends are legible. Soldini entered circulation via the Venetian trading fleet, and were used in place of silver half-pennies which were in short supply.  See DENO-67F499 on the PAS database for similar.

A complete Early Medieval copper alloy openwork strap fitting probably dating to c. AD 1000-1100. The fitting is triangular in shape with a bar at the top. The design is moulded in relief. There is a knop at either end of the bar, of which the right hand knop is more pronounced than the left. An incomplete iron ox shoe of probable medieval to post medieval date (c. AD 1250 - 1900). The ox shoe comprises a broadly C-shaped plate for one half of the cloven hoof of the ox with an integral loop at the toe end consisiting of a length of iron which projects from the inner edge of the shoe and has been bent backwards to meet the outer edge, possibly to help keep the shoe in place. A complete Medieval silver penny of John (AD 1199-1216), dating to c. AD 1204-1210. Voided short cross. Moneyer is either Lukas (Class 5b-c) or Miles (Class 5a-c). Minted at Winchester. A complete Medieval silver seal matrix, dating to c. AD 1200-1400, with an inset central intaglio, probably of brown jasper and probably a reused Roman gemstone (Martin Henig, pers. comm.). A Medieval to Post-Medieval gold 10 Cruzados (Português) of Manuel I of Portugal (1495-1521), dating to AD1499-1521 (Gomez 74.05). The coin has a small, round punch mark (located at 3 o'clock on the line of the inner circle on the obverse, and by the top of the central cross at at 1 o'clock on the reverse) which has almost pierced the coin. An incomplete, Medieval to Post Medieval cast copper-alloy double-loop annular buckle, dating c. AD 1350-1650. The buckle frame is circular with a central bar creating two back to back D-shaped loops, with D shaped cross section. Part of the pin is still in situ, held firm by corrosion products. Dimensions: Diameter: 20.9mm; thickness: 6.0mm; weight: 2.19g. Buckles of this form and size are difficult to date but a range from contexts spanning the mid 14th-mid 17th centuries is shown by Egan and Pritchard (1991:65-67).
