An incomplete Medieval silver annular brooch with decorative twisted (cable pattern) frame, dating to c. AD 1200-1400. The frame is slightly bent. There is a small constriction to hold the pin, which has broken with the result that the pin has been lost. The decoration comprises a cable-style twisted pattern all around the frame with four facets, each containing a line of stamped, raised pellets. The remainder of the brooch is formed of a single flat strip which splays out towards the rounded bottom. A complete Medieval gold annular brooch, dating to c. AD 1200-1400, with constriction for the pin. The band is wedge-shaped in section with a ring of small conjoined pellets on the upper surface and a legend on the outer face which reads, ‘IE SVI FLVR D[E] BO[N]’, meaning “I am a flower of good”. A complete Medieval gold inscribed annular brooch, dating to c. AD 1150-1350. The brooch has a slightly sub-circular frame, with a lozengiform cross-section. The frame is bevelled on either side, giving four surfaces, each inscribed with part of a Christian devotional prayer. An incomplete Roman copper alloy hinged zoomorphic plate brooch. The brooch consists of a plate in the form of an inverted S, decorated with enamel and possibly coral inlays. Probably dating to c. AD 1-200. The brooch is zoomorphic with symmetrical, opposed, curvilinear horse heads forming either arm of the plate. A complete Medieval copper alloy jetton dating to c. AD 1280-1343, repurposed into a brooch. The worn obverse of the jetton shows a triple stranded cross patty, with three pellets and three crescents in each quarter. The worn reverse depicts a shield, possibly with three lions passant in an 8/10 lobed tressor, with a pellet and strokes border.
