A complete lead possible spindle whorl of unknown exact date (c. AD 43-1800). The object is roughly circular in plan and D-shaped in cross-section with a central moulded aperture of diameter 8.17mm. The object has a greyish-white patina. Out of context, such objects can be very difficult to date precisely.  The overall dimensions are as follows: 23.53mm in diameter, 6.39mm in thickness and 17.37g in weight.

A complete lead spindle whorl of probable Early Medieval to Medieval date (c. AD 900 - 1100). The object is flat and discoidal in form with vertical sides and a central, circular perforation measuring about 6mm in diameter. The faces are not decorated. The whorl has a cream-coloured patina and is pitted across all faces. Comparable examples can be seen in Walton Rogers (1997: 1739) nos 6559 and 6562. Examples recorded on the PAS database include: SWYOR-75410B; SWYOR-866A1D; and LIN-60DDB0. The object measures 15mm in diameter and 10mm in thickness.

Both surfaces are plain and undecorated. There a several deep scratches and pits across the surface. The metal has a light grey patina.
