A complete finger ring dating to the Modern peirod (c. AD 1878-1900). The hoop is D-shaped in corss-section with a plain outer band and ITALIA UMBERTO I in raised lettering on the inner band with a border above consising of short vertical lines repeating. The object has a mid-green patina and the edges are slightly chipped. The finger ring appears to be dedicated to Umberto I, King of Italy from AD 1878 until his assassination in July 1900.  Overall dimensions: 22.30mm in diameter, 1.74mm in thickness and 3.17g in weight.

Description: A complete gold ring with silver coating on the outer face. The inside of the hoop is flat whilst the outside of the hoop is concave. The middle strip of the outer face is silver or white metal plated and has a cross-hatch pattern all the way around. The inside of the loop is undecorated. There is no maker’s mark. An incomplete copper alloy shotgun cartridge extractor dating to the Modern period (c. AD 1850-1950). The object has a complete loop, though slightly misshapen with an incomplete skirted lower edge. The skirt has a two larger rounded knops at the shoulder of the loop and the face. A smaller rounded knop can be seen between these larger knops. The opposing shoulder, reverse and underside are incomplete. The object has a dark greenish-brown patina.  The overall dimensions are as follows: 34.53mm in length, 26.69mm in width, 13.45mm in thickness and 12.50g in weight.
