A copper-alloy Roman dupondius of Marcus Aurelius (AD 161-180), dating to the period c.AD 176-177 (Reece period 8). Probably DE GERM or DE SARM (in exergue), IMP VIII COS III P P, S C reverse type depicting a trophy, at the base of which are seated a German or Sarmatian woman and man with his hands bound.
