An incomplete Post-medieval cast copper alloy mount in the shape of an acorn. The front of the mount is slightly convex and the back concave. It has an elongated oval shape with a thinner 'nut' and a broader cup. It has a small projecting knop at the top, resempling a stem curving to the right. On the back there are two integral circular sectioned rivets, one near the top and one near the base. Of the upper spike only a stub remains due to an old and worn break. Late Medieval to early Post-Medieval copper alloy fragment of a candle holder, dating to c. AD 1350-1600. The fragment consists of the bowl of the candle holder. The fragment is cylindrical in shape and hollow throughout, beginning with the narrower stem projecting from the underneath of the bowl from an old worn break. An incomplete Roman copper alloy hinged developed T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 50-160. The surviving portion of the brooch comprises the head and the upper part of the bow. At the head of the brooch the wings survive to a width of 22.5mm. They are cylindrical with worn, broken ends. At the back of the head there is a rectangular slot cut between the wings to hold the hinged pin, now missing. An incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester Polden Hill brooch, dating to c. AD 80-120. The brooch is missing its pin. The head of the brooch survives to a width of 27.5mm. The wings are cylindrical in cross sections, with an open reverse and terminating in a complete wing flat cap at either end. The end-cap is pierced for the axis bar around which is the coiled spring.
