A copper alloy partial handle and handle attachment lug from a Late Medieval to Post Medieval chafing dish dating from about AD 1400 - 1600. Only part of the loop handle survives; the straight bar that passes through the attachment lug, and part of the sides. The sides are concave and curved. The sides are hexagonal in cross section. A Post Medieval cast copper alloy trade weight from the reign of James I (AD 1603 - 1625) or James II (AD 1685 - 1688). The weight is circular and flat with no rim. The front has a central dimple and the back has file marks across it. It is stamped with a Crowned I (for James I or II) at 6 o'clock and an ewer (for the founders company) at 11 o'clock. There may have been sword stamped at 1 o'clock, this area is now very worn. It is 13.7mm in diameter and 3.2mm thick. It weighs 2.93gm. It was probably originally an eighth (0.125oz) of an ounce (two drams) with some weight lost to corrosion.

The plate is rectangular and flat, terminating in a narrow neck and an openwork terminal. Just before the terminal on the main plate is a pair of opposing U-shaped notches, one of which is slightly damaged. A copper alloy, hooked strap fitting; an S shaped belt fastener of Post Medieval date, AD 1550 - 1900. It is S shaped and zoomorphic, having the head of a snake at each end. On both sides in the centre there are two transverse ridges, each with three petals, leaves or feathers extending along part of the body. The eyes of the snake heads are also moulded in relief and have a moulded eyebrow extending backwards from the upper edge of the eye. The fastener displays a smooth, light brown patina. The pot leg is broadly triangular in section, with a slightly concave reverse, and a fluted front consisting of 5 semi-circular ribs that run the length of the leg. A copper alloy trade token with the merchant's mark of the United East India Company on the obverse. The obverse carries a heart divided by saltire with an intial of the United East India Company (VEIC) in each of the four sections. The heart is topped by a merchant's mark which looks like the numeral four, which is based on the "Sign of Four" (See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merchant%27s_mark). It has an oval loop with pointed and notched knop on the outer edge acting as a pin rest, and a recessed central bar. The metal is light grey in colour with predominantly smooth patina. A copper alloy hooked tag of Read Class E, Type 3 dating from the early post-Medieval period, about AD 1500 - 1650. It has a circular, openwork body with a raised rim and an outer border of pellets (engrailed). The body has a moulding consisting of a plain cross with a central pellet. There are four circular perforations in each of the quarters of the cross. . The reverse of the tag is plain and unmarked. It has a dark brown patina. See Read, 2008, number 370 on page 99. A copper alloy knife end cap dating from the Post Medieval period, probably AD 1500 - 1600. The end cap is in the form of two opposing animal heads. The heads look like dogs and are identical to each other. The snout is rounded and has a small groove to define the mouth. The eyes are circular recesses. On the underside is a slot and some ferrous corrosion, but none of the iron tang survives.
