A copper alloy trade token with the merchant's mark of the United East India Company on the obverse. The obverse carries a heart divided by saltire with an intial of the United East India Company (VEIC) in each of the four sections. The heart is topped by a merchant's mark which looks like the numeral four, which is based on the "Sign of Four" (See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merchant%27s_mark). The obverse legend including the date is illegible. The reverse of the coin is not legible but there was obviously a detailed design originally. The token is 27.9mm diameter, 1.4mm thick and…
