A post medieval copper-alloy trade token halfpenny of Thomas Shergold of Sarum, dating to AD 1666. THOMAS SHERGOLD OF SARVM obverse, depicting a central crown. HIS HALFE PENNY 1666 reverse, depicting the initials TS with three five-petalled flowers above with stems that create a curvilinear design between and beneath the initials. The token has a diameter of 20.43mm and weighs 1.43g. Five-petalled flower initial mark. Cf. Williamson p.1247 Wiltshire no.226. A similar trade token can be found on the database: WILT-1B44DE.
