Three copper-alloy fragments of an Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cruciform brooch, dating to AD 475-550. The bigger fragment is the head plate and bow of the brooch. The head plate consists of a slightly raised rectangular central panel and two trapezoidal wings. The knobs are integrally cast with the plate and are half rounded; they slightly protrude from the front face of the panel and have a plain base, a waist and a dome. An incomplete copper-alloy Early Medieval (Scandinavian) disc brooch, dating to AD 850-950. It consists of a slightly convex plate which has a intricate cast decoration on the front. The decoration consists of two concentric central circles which are enclosed in a sub-triangular figure.
