Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
An incomplete copper alloy double loop buckle, without bar or pin. The frame is rectangular in shape, but semi-circular in cross section. The buckle frame bends, making the front centre rise higher than the edges. Through the middle of the buckle is a hole, with evidence of rusting. This is presumably where the central bar would have been. The two wider sides of the rectangular frame press in slightly towards the centre. These two sides are also decorated with an impressed line in the centre. There is no further decoration on the buckle, which has a brown patina.
